My apartment complex is “upgrading” my complex and Google Fiber is coming to my area. It has pretty interesting in my neighborhood. Some great some not so great, the darn nets that, I am assuming are entering our home through the A/C system and hallway since all this construction has begun and lingered from an unknown dishwasher leak, that finally got tired of being ignored and showed itself with a flood….. While not in use I might add. So while they are slowly dying, being killed and my ninja skill improving with catch them with my bare hands (gross), I stumbled up on this wonderful do-hickey.

I love layers and all things blazer and cardigan. They just don’t love me. I am going to make a few cardigans for work and fall, but I really want to tackle a fitted blazer.
Tomorrow I am going to post a few pics of my pattern choices. Right now I am just…… Fighting my sleep and inventory checking . I have some “ugly fabric” I am going to use, just debating which one
I don’t really care for this picture. Without the accessories and body to fill it out, it doesn’t look like much. I figured I might as well post it and post my cute friend in it next week.
My friend must have been on something when she stood me up. So after I talked bad about her, she came over the next day. It fitted perfectly!!!!!!!!! I was so shocked. It was my 1st time grading a pattern and altering a crotch to accommodate her ba-dunk-a-dunk ;)…… If she ever finds out about this blog, she will make me pay.
So anyway her white linen party is next week. I have completely finished and she will make sure she sends me a picture to post later.
Now to figure out what I will make next. I am low on both fabric and funds and could use some Gingher pinking shears
So I had a horrible migraine today. Called into work, probably partially OD’d on painkillers, slept the entire day away and starved myself because the migraine was that bad. Anyway I had made arrangement with the friend I am the sewing s1355 for, to be fitted today, touched base with her two days ago and today….. She stood me up!!!!!!
She needs this thing by the 24th…. I think. She has a large tushy so I had to grade the pattern up a little and lengthen the crotch. This was the red alert fitting, because if I needed to start over, this was is it…. So here is where it stands
Oh, I tried to come through.
I didn’t get as much sewing as I planned this past weekend. I had to work and I am suffering a migraine. It’s affecting my sleep drastically…. but whining time over, life still continues.
I was able to get the pants “serged”, all the pieces for the top cut out and marked. Tonight’s agenda, hopefully will be to iron the interfacing and watching Mimi G for Michael Levine Collaboration project. Wednesday my friend will be coming over to make sure the pants fit, before I attach the bodice. I have my fingers and toes crossed.
I am little nervous today. Today is the 1st time I will be making a garment for a friend that I have attempted to alter by grading the pattern up. I had to adjust the crotch and add little more give to her backside, and that is what I am nervous about😁
It’s all cut and ready to be sewn. I am sipping on a cup of coffee and checking the instructions before I get started. The pattern is Simplicity #1355
There isn’t an awesome story behind my handle? Pink, at one point in my life, was my favorite color. I fell in love with the ideal of sewing, came across these at JoAnn’s, and just so happen to have a 40% off coupon…… And boom!!!!!!! My handle was born 😬
Although I still like it, pink is no longer my favorite color, all colors that are in peacocks feathers are. Some strange reason, that color spectrum makes me smile.
Until recently, I have never really had the desire to create a blog. I don’t think I live that interesting of a life. Nothing has changed, I still don’t, but dammit, Infuenster is driving me nuts shortening me 10 point just becuase I don’t have a blog…….. So now I will flood the internet with yet one more blog of a boring, rambling crazy woman….and because I want my freaking points 🙂

The following opinions are my own:
1. PureSilk Shaving cream- I like it a lot. I am a soap and water kind of girl when I shave my legs. I enjoyed the smell, Raspberry, foamy thick feel, and how it smoothed evenly and quickly. I am almost convinced it made my shaving faster because my long gross leg hair stayed in place… Don’t judge I was waiting on my voxbox lol.
2. The Olay tone perfecting cream feel nice. A little goes a long way. It averaged $29.99 a tube. My skin feels really nice, but once this jar is gone, I don’t know what I am gonna do. $29 is outside my sending have
3. Tide to Go….. Do I really need to say more it’s just great nothing need to be said
4. Ecotools facial sponge. It looks strange as heck, but is cleans and feels great cleaning my face with scratching it all up.
5. Sally Hansen full size bottle of a very pretty shade of almost Tiffany Blue… It is called barracuda….. Sssshhhh it my favorite. But that is because I just love polish.
I have used everything in what I have nicknamed “It’s Christmas” 🙂
